Abbey Road's Head of Partnerships, Jeremy Huffelmann tells us about the Studio's new partnership with Vacheron Constantin. This week saw the announcement of a unique collaboration between Abbey Road Studios and Swiss watch maker Vacheron Constantin, which was celebrated in style with an exclusive event on Tuesday evening at the studios. The partnership, which marks Vacheron Constantin's appointment as official time partner for the studios, is a collaboration that celebrates the shared heritage of passion, excellence and creativity, and aims to promote unique musical talents and support innovation in the field of sound and music.
The launch event saw Abbey Road play host to 150 international press and invited guests treated to an intimate acoustic performance by Universal artist and Vacheron Constantin collaborator, Benjamin Clementine. The performance, which was streamed live from Abbey Road's Studio One, included the live premiere of Clementine's song Eternity, which was specially composed to celebrate the launch of Vacheron's new FiftySix watch range. The song was originally recorded in Studio Two and was the first track to be co-produced by Vacheron Constantin and Abbey Road Studios. The evening was an exciting beginning to what promises to be an inspiring collaboration for Abbey Road. We are looking forward to exploring our mutual creative and technical worlds to create unique musical moments and tell some special stories together.
