Produced in association with
Because Music, this new instalment sees
LSDXOXO perform two tracks from his recent debut album,
DOGMA, with the live recordings cut directly to vinyl.
BLACK LIGHT and
4LUVN are both available to stream on DSPs now.
LSDXOXO says:
“Abbey Road carries a substantial amount of historical value among musicians, so I’m elated to have been offered the space to reimagine a few selects from my debut album. I’m so happy to finally be able to show my fans the performer that has been born from my years of production and djing. This is only but a taste of what’s to come!”RJ Glasgow first garnered attention as
LSDXOXO in New York City with his on-the-pulse
Soundcloud edits and then as part of the cult
GHE20GOTH1K collective. Shifting from sampled vocals to pen and microphone pushed his reach further; his association with
XL Recordings via the
Dedicated 2 Disrespect EP in 2021 was a turning point for the burgeoning superstar. The diversity in his sound has led to multiple co-signs, including being opening DJ for
Beyoncé’s German
Renaissance tour dates, remixing
Lady Gaga, Pink Pantheress and
Shygirl and producing five tracks for
Kelela‘s 2023 album
Raven.
His live show has also taken to the stage, serving fierce charisma to huge audiences at forward-thinking festivals including
Sónar, Ladyland, Roskilde, Dour, Flow, Nuits Sonores, Unsound, Rewire and many more.
LSDXOXO released his debut album
DOGMA in September 2024 via
F.A.G./Because Music.
The session was engineered by
Gordon Davidson with
Freddie Light and
Seth Taylor assisting.
Alex Gordon mastered and cut the vinyl.
