Following on from his recent double single entitled Bite The Hand/Kind of Love, Harry Strange has released the accompanying film Live from Studio Two, created as a part of our Equalise for Pride series in association with Gay Times.
The programme features intimate performances and interviews filmed at Abbey Road and our sister studio, Angel Studios and was born from the studio’s vision to celebrate creativity and queer artistic expression. The intention for the series has been to celebrate these artists foremost for their brilliance, whilst also shining a light on their queerness and personal journeys as LGBTQ+ individuals.
The self-directed & edited feature truly showcases Harry’s DIY approach to his project. The film not only emphasises the contrasting elements of the two singles but also highlights Harry’s working relationships with his best friends and longtime creative collaborators.
The film adopts a documentary style element as we watch the day unfold and even mistakes of certain takes are kept in to enhance the reality of a live video.
Since his first release in 2019, Harry Strange has accumulated over 4 million streams across all streaming platforms, been the cover of Spotify’s Peach playlist three times and been a part of their Out Now Queer campaign. Furthermore, he has continued to grow his live presence with sold-out shows at The Social and The Camden Assembly and recently joined Australian band Cub Sport on their tour across the UK.
