After five years of anticipation and teasing, Travis Scott's Utopia is out in the world.
To coincide with the release, Travis Scott has also put out a film entitled Circus Maximus. Acting as a follow-up to Travis’ 2018 Astroworld, Utopia was cut for global vinyl here at Abbey Road by Geoff Pesche who is pictured below with Travis in Room 5.
The American rapper announced the release date during his performance at the Rolling Loud Miami festival. To coincide with the release, a new movie called Circus Maximus is hitting cinemas today, too. Before the end of his set at Rolling Loud, Travis played a trailer for the album and film on the big screens at the festival.
Back in June Travis visited the studios to cut Utopia for global vinyl release and, as seen below, paid homage to The Beatles as he recreated the iconic photo used for the cover of Abbey Road.
Tonight Travis will play an album launch party for his long-awaited LP at the historic site of the
Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.
