Frank Turner’s new album FTHC is out now!
FTHC stands for ‘Frank Turner Hardcore’ and signals a return to musical roots for him and his band the Sleeping Souls. Featuring collaborations with Simon Neil from Biffy Clyro, Dominic Howard from Muse and Ilan Rubin of Nine Inch Nails, Frank masterfully tells the story of his recent life, concluding with his experiences leaving London for a fresh start on the Essex coast.
The album was mastered here at Abbey Road by the other Frank, mastering engineer Frank Arkwright!
“Great new album from one of my favourite artists. Maybe his best. And the themes he’s writing about are particularly poignant given what everyone has been through this year. Highly recommended.” - Frank Arkwright
Of the final single The Resurrectionists Turner says:
"This is one of my favourite sets of words I've ever written. It's a prose poem about what happens to the wild and invincible kids I was writing about 15 years ago when they get older, and how we deal with everything that brings with it. The song revisits some familiar characters from I Knew Prufrock, and brings things up to date. And to top it all, having my old friend Simon Neil (Biffy Clyro) sing on the song was the icing on the cake."
The album is available to buy here on CD, deluxe CD, LP, picture disc, cassette and limited signed bundles.
