Northern Irish band The Divine Comedy released their first album in 1990, and to celebrate the anniversary, they have re-issued nine of their twelve albums, which are out now.

Releasing albums including Liberation, Casanova, and Promenade, they have also put together a boxset, VENUS, CUPID, FOLLY & TIME - Thirty Years of The Divine Comedy which brings together all the remastered CD albums and bonus material, as well as new editions of 2016's Foreverland and 2019's Office Politics updated with bonus material and liner notes.

On working with Frank Arkwright, Neil Hannon says "Frank did a great job on our last studio album, Office Politics, so it was a no-brainer to use him for our 30th anniversary reissue project. I really like his warm and immediate sound. Remastering nine albums, originally recorded over a span of twenty years initially seemed a massive undertaking! Thanks to Frank's thoughtful and receptive approach (and a few late nights) we came away from the process with everything sounding fantastic."

Giving the boxset a four-star review, The Irish Times added: "The last 15 years have assuredly been Hannon’s most creatively productive, and include quality albums such as Absent Friends (2004), Bang Goes the Knighthood (2010), Foreverland (2016) and last year’s Office Politics. All of these and more (including Juvenilia, which features very early recordings) are neatly bundled and lovingly presented here. If you’re a fan, prepare to enter Hannon heaven."
