Today marks 90 years since Abbey Road officially opened as the world’s first recording studio - 90 years of enabling and recording the music makers who defined each generation. We’re always grateful to everyone who has stepped into our house to create, play, dream and share the joy of making music.
In celebration of our 90th birthday, we’ve adorned the wall with a few familiar faces of the people who have made the studios just so special across the decades.
Contrasting navy blue and metallic, the range - exclusive to the Shop - features the 90th Anniversary logo and is perfect for embracing the 90th birthday of the world's most famous studio!

Take a look at the original listing for the elegant sixteen-room, three-story town house built in 1830 that would later become Abbey Road Studios.
It was purchased by the Gramophone Company in 1928 who went on to build the world’s first purpose-built recording studio. The St John’s Wood address was chosen for its large garden and ideal location – close enough to the performance spaces of the time, but away from the noise and vibrations of the traffic and trains.
