Tom started his career playing bass in bands and spending his teenage years and the majority of his twenties touring, as well as assisting on sessions with Julius Drake and Deep Purple’s live show. After graduating in Music Production from the Leeds College of Music in 2013, Tom found himself working under British songwriter, musician and producer, Nick Southwood. During his time with Southwood, Tom worked with the likes of Greg Alexander (New Radicals), The Overtones, and for Adam Levine’s single Lost Stars, to name just a few.
After two years working as a production assistant, Tom secured a place in the copy rooms at Abbey Road in 2016 as a transfer engineer where he has worked on a host of exciting projects including The Beatles, The Sex Pistols, Melody Gardot, Elton John and many more. More recently, Tom’s role has expanded into assisting the mastering engineers with numerous projects in an array of analogue and digital formats.
Outside of his work at Abbey Road, Thomas can be found recording, mixing, mastering and producing personal passion projects.
