As a teenager, Paul played guitar in bands in and around his hometown of Bristol which introduced him to the art of recording. He saved up for a four-track cassette recorder and has never looked back.
Paul joined Abbey Road as a runner in 2007 on a placement scheme from the prestigious Tonmeister course at the University of Surrey; his warmth, willingness and attention to detail was an instant hit with the staff so he was invited to become a permanent fixture after graduating in 2009.
Since then he has worked on a great number of sessions across many musical genres.
He enjoys being a part of the Abbey Road family and feels lucky that the studios have such strength and depth, allowing projects of any size to find their home at Abbey Road.
