Jonathan Allen's Biography

Jonathan joined Abbey Rd in 1993 after completing a degree in Music & Theatre at London University. As a senior recording engineer Jonathan has gained a worldwide reputation for his work in Classical, Film and a wide variety of other projects. Jonathan has also produced albums and tracks for many labels including EMI.

Jonathan is very experienced in location recording and has worked in many UK and international locations including venues in America, Canada, Germany,Holland, France, Ireland, Russia and even Trinidad.

Project highlights this year include a new album with guitarist John Scofield, Vince Mendoza and the Metropole Orchestra for Universal, new music recorded for Michael Jackson's This is it film by his MD Michael Bearden, La Traviata with Renee Fleming live to over 150 cinemas from the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the soundtrack to the upcoming Playstation Game Heavy Rain, composed by Normand Corbeil.
