Since graduating from the Tonmeister course in July 2022, Seth has developed his engineering craft as an assistant across London studios including Studio 13, Baltic Studios, and Ten87’s The Club. Keen to learn the ingredients involved in top-level record production, he has also worked under the guidance of legendary record producer Jim Abbiss, contributing to forthcoming releases from the likes of Tom Walker, Deadletter and Public Order. These experiences have expanded on the foundations of a skillset built during a year at ICP Recording Studios in Brussels, where Seth was co-led an assistant engineering team across the four-studio residential facility.

Alongside his operational work in recording studios, a musical ear and attention to detail have seen Seth undertake score editing and mix prep work for established film scoring engineers Peter Cobbin and Kirsty Whalley, and music production company Maestro Music UK. Equipped with a solid technical understanding of ProTools, Seth has delivered edited, mix-ready cues for projects such as Hollywood and Bollywood blockbusters Black Adam and Tiger 3, TV series The Great and Delia Balmer, as well as the popular computer game Call of Duty. He has also translated this practice into his music work, helping artist and polymath Jacob Collier with the ingest of data and transfer of orchestral recordings between DAWs for his recent LP Djesse Vol. 4.

Equally at home outside of an engineering mindset, Seth continues to stay creatively engaged, having composed music for a short film and a dance commission in the last year, and producing the forthcoming debut EP for singer-songwriter Jamie Rees.
